Supporting Science Teachers

Nowgen has worked with over 500 teachers in the past five years. We are always looking for new opportunities to explore genetic medicine with teachers.

Some of our courses have focused on laboratory skills and giving teachers the confidence to use molecular genetic kits in school. Other events have given teachers an update on developments in genetics from enthusiastic expert speakers. Finally, we have provided training on discussing social and ethical issues and using media articles in the classroom.
